INGREDIENTS:
1 pound lean ground beef
10 slices of bacon
1/2 small yellow or white onion, diced
3 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp yellow mustard
1 1/2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 cup beef broth
8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
Brioche hamburger buns
INSTRUCTIONS:
Add ground beef to large cast iron skillet and brown until about half has a deep crust.
Remove beef and drain the fat. Add bacon and cook until crispy, remove and crumble.
Add onion to pan and cook for 4 minutes, until brown.
Add beef back in to pan.
Mix beef broth and cornstarch together. Add ketchup, mustard, worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and beef broth mixture into the pan.
Cook until there is only a small amount of liquid remaining, about 3-5 minutes.
Add bacon back to pan and stir.
Turn off heat. Add cheddar cheese and fold into meat until melted.
Serve on toasted brioche buns.
