cream cheese Bars

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 box French Vanilla Cake Mix

  • 8oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 eggs, room temperature

  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • powdered sugar for dusting

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

  2. Mix together the cake mix, one egg and the oil until crumbly. Take out 1 cup of crumb mixture to use later on

  3. Grease a 9x13 pan and pat crumb mixture into pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Set aside

  4. Add the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and egg to a bowl and beat with a handheld mixer on medium speed.

  5. Spread mixture evenly over the crust

  6. Sprinkle the cup of crumb mixture on top

  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the top is golden brown

  8. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature

  9. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and serve.
