INGREDIENTS:
Vegetable oil
Eggroll Wrappers
Pizza Sauce
Mozzarella Cheese (I use a mozzarella and provolone cheese blend)
Fillings: Pepperoni, Sausage, etc. (I use the small pepperonis and Jimmy Dean Hot Sausage)
Seasoning Blend:
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp parsley flakes
1/2 tsp salt and pepper
1/4 tsp sage seasoning
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cook any fillings you may be using: brown the sausage, cook peppers, etc.
Pour enough vegetable oil in a deep pot so it fills up 1/4 of the way.
Heat up oil over high heat. It should get to 350 degrees before using.
Lay out your first wrapper, brush water around the outer edges. Pour pizza sauce diagonally down the middle. Top with shredded cheese, and other fillings. Roll up one side diagonally, turn edges in, and continue rolling until it is enclosed.
Repeat for the remaining pizza rolls.
Once oil is hot enough, drop the first few into the oil. After a few minutes, turn over to cook the other side. Once done, place on a paper towel to cool.
Immediately place toppings on top of hot pizza roll.
